Barney has found a Special, Forever home

Thanks to everyone who enquired about Barney, he has now found a home. Once again thankyou and we’ll be in touch regarding the availability of future litters.

Barney is hearing impaired and requires an understanding home, preferably someone/family who understands the requirements of such a puppy.

There are implications for training, lifestyle etc and it isn’t a decision to take lightly. We believe Barney would benefit from a home with another dog that he may be able to follow around.

Barney is available to an approved home at a lower price- he would make an ideal family companion for someone who understands his condition and cannot afford a full priced Aussie Bulldog, he loves nothing more than to be by your side, and he has a keen sense of smell and is very alert sight wise, to compensate for his hearing impairment. Barney is also just about house trained, he is very keen to learn.

Barney has been vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed (intestinal and monthly heartworm), and comes with Australian bulldog society registration papers. We are looking for a pet home only- breeders need not apply.

Please email us for further information, and if you could tell us some more about the home your able to provide for our special boy.

Hi, I have just seen your blog about Barney. I would like him to consider being our best friend. I have been searching for an Aussie for a long time, we are a married couple who live in the Adelaide Hills and we have a 15 year old son at home. We have 2 fat lazy cats and a 15year old very patient maltese shihtzu x, who lives mostly inside. Our home is on 1/2 acre, fully dog fenced. My hubby works full time and I work 3 days per week as a fully qualified vet nurse at a mixed animal practice. When we are not working we love to sit on our porch and watch the world go by or laze about on the couch watching TV or going for walks around our town and stopping at our local coffee shop for a cuppa in the sunshine.
I have plenty of time to devote to a new puppy and over my years working in the veterinary field and for the RSPCA have a good understanding of special needs animals. I would love it if you would consider our home, I have a friend who has an Aussie and he really tickles our fancy! such a good and loving dog, but an absolute clown! Please get back to me soon.
