Well It’s nearly Zeppelin’s first birthday (June) and she is really starting to blossom.
Zeppelin looks very much like her mum, Zephyr- an athletic girl, of distinct bulldog type. We are very pleased with Zeppelin who is the 2nd generation of Balerow Australian Bulldog to Australian Bulldog breeding. Her bloodlines are impeccable, stemming from our beautiful girl Malleebull Zarahlinda and our boy Oden, along with some new blood from Allmac kennels, Zeus.

We hope you enjoy the photos. Zeppelin’s structure

Freckles loves “her” lemons. Don’t you just love how puppies want to explore everything, aussie bulldogs are particularly curious about such things as lemons. Till they take a big bite :/
Cute pics! Had to share

The Australian Bulldog Society has very kindly begun a rescue service for rehoming those poor Aussie Bulldogs that never quite found their forever homes. There are many reasons why puppies go astray ending up in pounds and shelters, sadly many ruthless breeders don’t interview their puppy adoptees extensively to assess whether they are suitable.

Well it was a lovely day in Sydney today, the girls had a ball exploring their yard and we took a few snaps.
Enjoy the photos- but I’m told they don’t do them justice! They are just so cute.

If you’ve ever had a dog that has carried the canine parvovirus there are a number of steps you must take to ensure your new family member isn’t at risk of contracting this deadly and highly contagious virus. The virus can live in your soil for many years after the incidence.

Hi All,
Happy Easter to Everyone! We have been kept very busy here whilst juggling the hand rearing of our latest litter for the last month or so. Our beautiful Zephyr unfortunately developed an abscess in her mammary gland and as a result was unable to rear her beautiful girls.

Therefore we’ve had the pleasure of

Blues, Harlequins, blue eyes the list goes on, but one thing is for certain they tend to be all the craze in the 20th century. The average price for a blue English staffordsire Bull terrier is upwards of $1500, and the average price of your good old brindles and reds is roughly $600. We have observed friends go through nothing but trouble with endless skin problems associated with owning blue staffordshires. We ourselves

The agility competitors run an obstacle course that includes a seesaw, a tunnel, jumps, a stay on table and weaving in and out of obstacles. The dogs are timed, with points deducted for failure to negotiate each obstacle correctly. The requirements are strict; if the dog jumps

Some of the most memorable moments we have with our bullies occur when we take them with us on an outing, be it to the river, beach or bush they love to accompany us on our trips. To ensure your bulldog will feel comfortable travelling with you in your car its very important to subject them to these surrounds at a young age. An Aussie Bulldog that isn’t properly introduced to the experience of car travel may experience anxiety, motion sickness (vomiting) or just plain bad behaviour.

Flea control
Revolution, Advantage and Frontline work well enough and fast enough that even if you have a heavy flea infestation, you won’t need to fumigate your house or spray the yard. Simply treat your your pets. Fleas jump on pets, fleas die. As simple as that.

I found an article in the NSW Canine Journal, by Garry Somerville supplied by DOGS NSW, of which we are a current financial member.
This is a snippet of his article, which really made me stop an think for a minute or two about my dogs behaviour, values etc.
I quote:
“In connection with your dog’s power of reasoning I have an old true story that is not only true, but

We took Zelda to the river with us for a picnic this week. We couldn’t keep her out of the water, she is so sure she can swim, but we aren’t so sure hence the leash in the water pics!
Here she is having a game.

Isn’t her figure coming back well?! After having babies just 4 months or so prior to these shots, she’s looking really good. She has a very full figure, but lots of muscle there too, as shown in

The first mention of the Bulldog in English literature occurs in 1500 and, over the centuries, many written works refer to the breed although, rather confusingly, not always by this name.
Several terms were used to describe the forerunner of the bulldog,

Internal roundworms affect dogs of all ages and it is certainly a wise precaution to maintain a regular worming regime throughout the whole kennel. We worm our dogs every 3 months, for intestinal worms and once monthly to prevent heart worm. Bitches which have not been kept sufficiently wormed during pregnancy will often pass roundworm on to the newborn puppies, through the females blood supply, and the damage that this can cause to the newborn puppies, can be quite devastating, to the extent that in some cases
